Banish cabin fever by letting your kids do something fun, free—and good for them—on their day off. Scenic Hudson will offer outdoor crafts and guided snowshoe treks as well as tips on building snow shelters. Children also can try out a Hammerhead Sled and Tubbs Snowshoes (courtesy of Mountain Tops Outdoors) or lace up their ice skates and take a spin around a small pond.
Most of these activities are weather dependent—for up-to-date info, keep checking our Facebook page or website. For groups planning to attend, please RSVP.
Bring lunch and wear weather-appropriate clothing (including boots, gaiters or snowpants). Also bring snowshoes, a sled and ice skates, if available. No pets please. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
