SAVE THE DATE: June 7 "Welcome the Fleet Festival" in Beacon
Join us at the Beacon waterfront on June 7 as we "welcome the fleet."
Celebrate Henry Hudson's historic voyage with music, dancing and boatloads of fun – all taking place on the very shores the Half Moon sailed past 400 years ago – as we await the arrival of the Quadricentennial flotilla.
Join us down by the river in Beacon on Sunday, June 7, from 2 to 7 p.m., for waterfront fun for the whole family. There will be live music by The Kids from Room 12, Nopresha, and The Big Takeover along with storytelling by River of Dreams children's book author Hudson Talbott. Also: free kayak and bike rentals, volleyball, hulahooping, community sculpting – and some great food vendors!
The event is free, but please RSVP.
