Jane Heidgerd: Hudson Valley Hero
Writer Jane Heidgerd lives in Rhinebeck and has been organizing poetry readings at Scenic Hudson's Poets' Walk Park since the park first opened in 1995. Jane has played an important role in connecting Scenic Hudson with local writers and the neighboring academic community. Thanks to Jane Heidgerd, people are discovering new ways to connect with the beauty of our region.
Jane Heidgerd: bringing people together in the name of art
“It's wonderful volunteering for Scenic Hudson. Their work is nothing short of miraculous. Whether I'm organizing readings, picking up along the river or sending money, it's an honor to help preserve and regenerate our cultural landscape.”
