And the ANSWER is...
Scenic Hudson member Aaron of Hudson correctly identified this photo as being in the RamsHorn-Livingston Sanctuary in Catskill.
If birds are your bag, then you probably already know about RamsHorn-Livingston Sanctuary, a haven for our feathered friends, big and small. Co-owned with Audubon New York, the 480-acre wonderland in Catskill, Greene County, boasts the Hudson River’s largest tidal swamp, making it a perfect place for migratory waterfowl to catch their breath and pig out between long flights.
The sanctuary offers humans one of the greatest canoeing/kayaking adventures in the region. In addition to a life vest, don’t forget your binoculars. And don’t be surprised if you spot a bald eagle -- these majestic creatures are regularly seen soaring over the swamp.
