Bald Eagle

This majestic bald eagle flew over my car while my family and I were sightseeing this past December. It was nice enough to land in the tree not too far from us, and seemed as if he was posing for us. I was able to snap almost 30 pictures of him. This picture was taken on Rte. 213 in the town of Rifton, N.Y.

Great shot - I love these birds every time I see them I get chills - It's so nice to see them returning to the region - Amazing, its wonderful that they are learning to adapt. Wow, if this was taken in the Hudson Valley it is amazing. I didn't know we had Bald Eagles. Where in the Hudson was it taken? It should say in your description..bet you'll get more votes if we all knew where you spotted this beauty...

This beautiful eagle was
This beautiful eagle was taken on Rte. 213 in the town of Rifton, N.Y. on December 29th, 2007. It flew over my car while I was driving and landed on a tree behind me. It stayed there for over 1/2 hour, as if it was posing for the camera. It was an awesome day!
