Scenic Hudson, city leaders and several innovative businesses were toasted by 400 supporters recently, including Sen. Charles E. Schumer, at left, pictured with Ned Sullivan and Marjorie L. Hart, our board chair.
The occasion was Scenic Hudson's gala, which this year celebrated the transformation of the Yonkers waterfront from a pollution scarred property into the county's new Habirshaw Park and a vibrant mix of business and residential space.
