Franny Reese Preserve |
| Lloyd, Ulster County - Scenic Hudson dedicated 250 acres of impressive ridgeline just south of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Mid-Hudson Bridge to the memory of Franny Reese. The rugged landscape offers views of the Mid-Hudson Bridge and Hudson River. The land boasts a broad array of tree species and features carriage trails and stone walls that crisscross the acreage. The preserve will be managed by the Palisades Interstate Parks Commission on behalf of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The Scenic Hudson Land Trust will transfer the land to NYS Parks at a later date. |

Beczak Environmental Center |
| Yonkers, Westchester County - Scenic Hudson is working with New York State, Westchester County, the City of Yonkers and the Beczak Environmental Center to create a five-acre riverfront public park, esplanade and environmental education center with stunning views of the Palisades. Historically the area was dominated by industrial facilities that blocked public access to the river. Once slated for six, 38-story apartment buildings, the property is now protected by a 25-acre conservation easement held by The Scenic Hudson Land Trust. The park is currently open but improvements are continuing. |

River View |

| Cortlandt, Westchester County - Scenic Hudson worked with New York State, Westchester County, the Town of Cortlandt and more than 130 individual contributors to purchase this 352 acre property. One of the last large undeveloped parcels of land left in Westchester County, the park supports a diversity of wildlife habitat and is steeped in Revolutionary War history. The park is currently open but improvements are continuing. Many thanks to Turner Construction Co. for its generation donation of a kiosk at this park. Foundry Cove Marsh |
| Cold Spring, Putnam County - This 87-acre preserve is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was home to the West Point Foundry (see Archaeological Research), maker of the Parrott Gun, a cannon that figured prominently in the Union's Civil War victory. The Village of Cold Spring, Putnam County, the Putnam County Historical Society & Foundry School Museum and the National Audubon Society are working with us to interpret the site's rich history. The adjacent Foundry Cove, once a superfund cleanup site, now boasts tidal wetlands that provide habitat for Hudson River bird species. The park is currently open but improvements are continuing. |
