Coxsackie, Greene County - This 7.6-acre riverfront preserve, once slated for development, now offers a picturesque shoreline, tranquil inland pond and 60-foot ridge that provides dramatic vistas.

The preserve once housed an icehouse during the height of the historic ice industry along the Hudson River. Development of the property occurred in 1992 by The Scenic Hudson Land Trust, the Town of Coxsackie and the Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District.

Nature trail leading to an overlook of Hudson River. Wetland wildlife viewing platform. Canoe and kayack access to the river.

Crossing Rip Van Winkle Bridge from east to west, turn right at first traffic light onto Route 385 north. Continue 7.6 miles. Right on Four-Mile Point Rd. Parking area on left.
