| Athens, Greene County - This magical 63-acre property in the Olana viewshed will become a public riverfront park with direct Hudson River access and stunning views. Features of this spectacular setting include nearly one-half mile of Hudson River shoreline, tidal wetlands with abundant vegetation beds, a mix of hardwood forest and fields, stunning panoramic views and an historically significant home. Scenic Hudson is partnering with the Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District on improving and managing the land. |

| Orangetown, Rockland County - Scenic Hudson led a coalition in 1999 to secure funding from more than 130 citizens, New York State, Rockland County, the Town of Orangetown, Columbia University and the Wallace Fund to protect 50 acres of this ridgeline, which is surrounded by public parkland overlooking the Hudson River. This property is managed by Rockland County. |

| Haverstraw, Rockland County - In the heart of the village, this three-acre riverfront park boasts sweeping views of Haverstraw Bay - the widest expanse of the Hudson River. The Scenic Hudson Land Trust co-owns 1.5 acres of the park with the village. The park is accessible by land or water (boats can dock at the park's edge). The breezy lawn includes a gazebo, a playground, benches and pathways. |

| Esopus, Ulster County - The Heritage and Recreation Network links various sites that make Esopus a special place to live, work and explore. The town is home to unique nature preserves, historic sites, hiking trails, scenic roads and cultural centers. The network was developed with a grant from the Greenway Conservancy of the Hudson River Valley with in-kind contributions from the Town of Esopus, Town of Esopus Library and Scenic Hudson. |

| New City, Rockland County - This is one of Rockland County's most famous landscapes. The 1937 fight to save High Tor from quarrying was the subject of Maxwell Anderson's Pulitzer Prize winning play "High Tor." A 54-acre vineyard acquired by The Scenic Hudson Land Trust was added to this 500-acre park. The property is managed by the Palisades Interstate Park Commission (PIPC). |
