Owned by The Scenic Hudson Land Trust and managed by the Palisades Interstate Park Commission (PIPC), the park features trails built by the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. |

The Scenic Hudson Land Trust donated the parcel to the Town of Esopus. In return the town agreed to a conservation easement on the land, so the area will forever remain a park. Connects to Esopus Meadows Point Preserve & Environmental Center. |

| New Windsor, Orange County - Embark by canoe or kayak south on the Hudson River from the state-owned Kowawese Unique Area to the mouth of Moodna Creek and the historic homestead of one of Gen. George Washington's lieutenants (house not open to public). The Scenic Hudson Land Trust conveyed 60 acres of the marsh to the DEC in 2000 but retained the historic 1735 Squire Nicoll house and five acres. |
