These volunteers create a hospitable and informative presence at Scenic Hudson Parks. Park Stewards, Tour Guides & Volunteer Educators give exciting and informative park tours, open and close the parks and educate park visitors and students. Volunteers can participate in trail improvement workdays to assist in the maintenance of trails or help construct new ones.
This volunteer program has sparked great interest among retirement-age volunteers, people who frequent Scenic Hudson parks, community groups and outdoor clubs who share a love for the heritage and ecology of the Hudson River Valley.
