What You Can Do
There are all kinds of ways that you can enjoy—and help to protect—the splendor of the Hudson River and its communities.
Scenic Hudson relies on its members and volunteers to help us protect and enhance our river and valley. As threats to the region escalate, we need even more participation. Together we can safeguard our land and water, advocate for change and help people understand the region's rich heritage and ecosystem.
Our mission - to empower residents through volunteerism, education, recreation and advocacy - has led us to collaborate with diverse volunteers, schools, community groups and municipalities. In particular, our partnership with the Student Conservation Association, stations paid interns in our office throughout the year.
