Sprawl Lecture at TSL in Hudson
Author James Howard Kunstler
James Howard Kunstler to speak on "The Coming Permanent Energy Crisis" on Saturday, Feb. 2
Scenic Hudson members are invited to a special lecture by James Howard Kunstler to be held at Time & Space Limited in Hudson on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m.
Kunstler is the author of The Geography of Nowhere, a provocative and widely acclaimed book that traces America's evolution from the Pilgrim settlements to the modern auto suburb in all its ghastliness.
Having tallied up the huge economic, social and spiritual costs that America is paying for its car-crazed lifestyle, Kunstler is predicting a "permanent energy crisis" unless something is done about sprawl.
Scenic Hudson is co-sponsoring this important lecture with Time & Space Limited. Additional details are available at www.timeandspace.org.
