Volunteer Gardeners

Got a green thumb? Several of Scenic Hudson's parks have landscaped areas near trailheads and parking areas that need help to showcase native plants and provide a welcoming entry.

Duties

1. Maintain an existing planting bed by weeding, mulching and watering as necessary.
2. Help the Scenic Hudson staff augment and replant gardens at the parks.

• Mount Beacon, Beacon (Dutchess County)
• Madam Brett Park, Beacon (Dutchess County)
• Black Creek Preserve, Esopus (Ulster County)
• Poets' Walk Park, Red Hook (Dutchess County)
