Campaign Coordinator

Mission of Position:

Scenic Hudson is a premier environmental protection organization in the Hudson Valley. This position will support the Development team focused on the capital campaign (including the President, the Vice President of External Relations, and the Individual Giving Manager)

Qualifications:

Mature, responsible, focused, reliable individual, with outstanding organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy is essential. Experience in and knowledge of fund raising, in particular, capital campaigns is required. Strong research and writing skills, as well as the ability to support the Vice President, President and Board Volunteers is essential. Proficiency with Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) is required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Principle Responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and maintaining prospect tracking charts, including prospects, assignments of solicitors, outcomes from requests, pledges confirmations, acknowledgements, event invitations, and reservations recognition confirmations, etc.
  • Provides assistance in implementing campaign solicitations and events, including coordination of event arrangements (design and mail invitations, arrange location, scheduling, catering, reservations, marketing/promotion, recognition gifts, photography, follow-up, etc.),
  • Attendance at events as requested, communications (telephone, e-mail, written documents)
  • Filing and electronic donor record updates, use of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge database
  • Assists with ongoing general Development activities and performs other related duties as assigned
