Scenic Hudson Board Member
Omar is CEO and Founder of Think Alpha, a company that has developed a platform for real-time idea generation and strategy development. He is Co-Founder and Managing Member of Avatar Securities, a multi-strategy proprietary trading firm. Avatar facilitates equities trading for all methodologies in today’s financial markets by relying on their technology and infrastructure. Omar received a BA from American University in International Relations and Development. He has a passion for golf and interest in natural golf courses that rely on the nature’s terrain and the topography of a place, rather than overly landscaped courses with residential developments. Omar and his wife, Nadia, have two young boys, Zavier and Kolhai, and reside in Greenwich Village. They enjoy visiting the Hudson Valley and taking advantage of the many hiking destinations.
