Suzy Welch

Suzy is an author, entrepreneur, and TV correspondent. Over the course of a career in journalism and business management, she has worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, written for O, The Oprah Magazine and appeared as a contributor on NBC’s The Today Show and CNBC’s Power Lunch. She currently serves as chair of Quadio, a social media platform for college creatives, and the digital home services company ANGI. Her 2009 book, 10-10-10: A Life Transforming Idea, was a New York Times bestseller. She is also the co-author, with her late husband Jack Welch, of two international New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling business books, Winning, published in 2005, and Winning: The Answers: Confronting 74 of the Toughest Questions in Business Today in 2006. Then in 2015 Suzy and Jack authored The Real-Life MBA: Your No-BS Guide to Winning the Game, Building a Team, and Growing Your Career. Suzy rejoined the board of the Humane Society in 2021. She is vegan and is passionate about animal rights, including treatment of farm animals. She was an earlier investor in Beyond Meat, a company producing a meat substitute made from plant-based protein. Suzy attended Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard and Radcliffe College, and Harvard Business School, from which she graduated as a Baker Scholar, in the top five percent of her class. She is the mother of four adult children and lives in New York City, the Hudson Valley, and Nantucket with her rescue dogs. Her Hudson Valley estate is located next to Poets’ Walk Park.
