SUMMARY:Hudson River Eel Project Training: Black Creek 2025
DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun new volunteer opportunity this spring? \n\n\n\nJoin us for two hours of training that will get your feet wet (don’t worry\, we’ll provide waders!) and prepare you to assist at Black Creek Preserve catching\, counting\, and weighing juvenile eels. \n\n\n\nData recorded by the Hudson River Eel Project helps researchers determine the status of eel populations and the timing of their migrations. \n\n\n\nSIGN UP HERE\n\n\n\nIf you have any questions about this event\, please contact Jeremy Laplanche at jlaplanche@scenichudson.org. \n\n\n\nThe project is coordinated by the NYSDEC Hudson River National Estuarine Research Reserve and Hudson River Estuary Program\, in partnership with Scenic Hudson at Black Creek Preserve.
