SUMMARY:Scenic Hudson Gala 2024
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Gala promises to be an unforgettable celebration of female environmental champions from across the Hudson Valley. These women are bringing Sojourner Truth’s passion\, fearlessness\, and leadership qualities to everything they do. They are committed to preserving and protecting our environment while working tirelessly to improve the lives of others. Like Truth herself\, they are symbols of justice and service. What’s more\, they also embody Scenic Hudson’s decades-long mission of sustaining and enhancing the valley’s beauty and health — ideals we will highlight on this memorable night. \n\n\n\nLEARN MORE AND RESERVE TICKETS HEREAt our Gala\, we will honor: \n\n\n\n\nLucy Rockefeller Waletzky\, M.D.\, Former NY State Parks Commission Chair\n\n\n\nAndrea Stewart-Cousins\, NY State Senate Majority Leader\n\n\n\nYvonne Flowers\, Mayor of Poughkeepsie\n\n\n\nShaniqua Bowden\, Director of Cultural Engagement and Sustainable Living for the Kingston Land Trust\n\n\n\nKathy Lawrence\, Founding Board Chair of the Greater Newburgh Parks Conservancy\n\n\n\n\nWe look forward to celebrating their service\, leadership\, spirit\, and commitment to the region\, and hope you can generously support this special event. \n\n\n\n
