From high elevation forests to the globally rare tidal marshes along the Hudson estuary\, the 30-minute documentary film captures the beautiful\, the complex\, the familiar\, and the unknown…guided by the plants\, animals\, and people that call the Hudson Valley home. \nTRAILER The Nature of Nature: Biodiversity in the Hudson Valley – YouTube \nJoin us for the premiere at Rosendale Theatre on Thursday\, November 20 at 7pm. The free event will include our first public screening followed by a panel with Hudson Vally conservationists and biologists featured in the film\, including: \n\n\n\n\n\nPia Ruisi-Besares\, Scenic Hudson\nJim Bonesteel\, Hudson Taconic Lands\nSarah Fernald\, Hudson River National Estuarine Research Reserve\nLaura Heady\, Hudson River Estuary Program and Cornell University\nGretchen Stevens\, Hudsonia Ltd.\nAlex Wolf\, Scenic Hudson\nRon Zorilla\, Outdoor Promise\n\nDirected by Emmy-award winning Laura deNey and produced by Flicker Filmworks in partnership with Laura Heady at the DEC Hudson River Estuary Program and Cornell University\, we are grateful to everyone who was a part of the making of this film. \n  \nThe Nature of Nature was funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation through the New York State Environmental Protection Fund in partnership with NEIWPCC.
