SUMMARY:What’s at Stake for the Hudson River PCBs Superfund Site?
DESCRIPTION:The Hudson River has long been a bustling center of commerce and recreation\, as well as home to abundant fish and wildlife. But General Electric dumped toxic PCBs into this American Heritage River for more than 30 years\, turning a 200-mile stretch of the Hudson into one of the biggest Superfund sites in the country and posing a serious health threat to humans and wildlife alike. \n\n\n\nJoin Congressmen Pat Ryan and Marc Molinaro\, and Friends of a Clean Hudson for an eye-opening virtual briefing where public officials\, scientists\, and environmentalists will discuss the PCB pollution in the river\, the impact on human health and the environment\, what is happening with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the cleanup – and why you should care.  \n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE
