La Voz y www.scenichudson.org’s HV Viewfinder visualizan un futuro sustentable e inclusivo para el Valle de Hudson, así que hicimos un equipo para aprender sobre carreras ecológicas a través de cuatro personas locales que tienen unos roles interesantes. Estos líderes no solamente se sienten desafiados, pero también dicen que están contribuyendo a revitalizar el área para hoy y mañana.

¿Qué haces? Estoy en control de la garantía de seguridad. Además, tengo que saber todo lo que esta pasando desde el principio hasta el fin, en este orden.

¿Cuáles son las actividades que haces diariamente para tu trabajo?
Estoy midiendo, grabando con video, tomando fotos, y comunicando con nuestro gerente de proyectos. Si estamos quedando atrás, ¿cómo vamos a corregirlo? Tengo una solución para cualquier cosa que pasa en el sitio.

¿Como haces un impacto con tu trabajo? He estado en energía por 25 años. Antes, trabaje haciendo evaluaciones energéticas de casas residenciales. Siempre he tenido interés en mejorar el planeta, ¿cómo hacemos cosas mas verdes?, ¿cómo bajamos las emisiones? Con residencial, lo hicimos casa por casa. Con los paneles solares, hacemos por megavatios.

¿Qué puede hacer alguien que tiene interés en esta carrera? Una certificación de NABCEP [North American Board of Certified Energy Practioners, o Practicantes de Energía Certificado por el Comité Norte Americano] es lo que necesitas para trabajar en solar.
