Art & Nature

Share:

Kyle Cottier is part of a breed of young artists making a home in the Hudson Valley and using its natural features both for inspiration and material. His sculptures, often made of reclaimed wood and demonstrating superior craftsmanship, explore humanity’s relationship with the world around us. In his own words, “Nature is abundant with sturdy patterns—blueprints for substructures that heal the psyche, built out of the everyday ruins of existence.” Check out more of his work here.
