Emily Hague
Since joining Scenic Hudson in 2017, Emily has protected key lands for long-distance trail corridors and coordinated land transfers to agency partners. She also led the organization through re-accreditation as a land trust and spearheaded upgrades to conservation databases. She currently oversees the land conservation program, including ongoing stewardship work to ensure the conservation goals of easements are upheld.
After beginning her conservation career in her home watershed in New Hampshire, Emily led Monadnock Conservancy’s stewardship program for a decade and served in local government as a city councilor. She then left New Hampshire for the Hudson Valley, where she directed land protection and stewardship at Mohonk Preserve.
Emily holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College and a M.S. in Resource Management and Administration from Antioch University New England.
