J. Jeffrey Anzevino
Jeff has been a part of Scenic Hudson’s planning team since 1991. Named Director of Land Use Advocacy in 2010, he helps communities ensure that riverfront development stimulates the economy, connects people with the river, and conserves views and natural resources.
Jeff is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners and was an editor and co-author of the award-winning guide Revitalizing Hudson Riverfronts (Scenic Hudson, 2010). He also managed the 2023 Hudson River Access Plan, which evaluated public access along the river’s rail corridor and made recommendations for accessibility and safety. Previously, he worked as a planner in Cape Coral, Florida.
Jeff earned a B.A. in Geography from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, graduating cum laude. He is an adjunct instructor at Marist College where he teaches Environmental Planning.
