Jason Camporese
Jason brings a strategic blend of financial leadership, operational insight, and mission- driven stewardship to Scenic Hudson. Since joining the team in 2015, he has strengthened financial systems and internal controls, advancing long-term sustainability for the organization’s growing portfolio of programs and initiatives.
Jason spearheaded the financing and execution of Scenic Hudson’s historic redevelopment project – the Northside Hub – transforming an abandoned factory and brownfield into solar-powered offices and community space. Overseeing the complex, multi-year initiative and diverse funding streams, he ensured the project remained financially sound while aligning with the organization’s vision for community impact. The result is a modern hub that fosters collaboration and Scenic Hudson’s next generation of work.
In addition to financial strategy and reporting, Jason oversees budgeting, compliance, risk management, information technology, and organizational operations, working closely with his peers on the executive team and Board of Directors. He is committed to
building transparent financial practices that empower staff, strengthen partnerships, and advance the organization’s mission.
Before joining Scenic Hudson, Jason held roles in nonprofit finance and public accounting, and earned a B.S. in accounting from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he serves on the committee on nonprofit organizations.
