Charles L. (Chet) Kerr

Scenic Hudson Board Member

After practicing law as a litigator in NYC for over 35 years, Chet retired as a senior partner from Morrison & Foerster in 2016. He currently teaches and uses his experience to advise organizations and works on a wide array of civil rights, criminal justice, and arts management issues. Chet is board chair of the Greater Irvington Land Conservancy Foundation, Inc. and Friends of the Ardsley-on-Hudson Train Station, Inc. He is a board member and secretary of Pollinator Pathway, Inc., and a board member of Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. He is also a member of the Village of Irvington Housing Committee and the Village of Irvington TOD Committee, as well as an ambassador of New Yorkers for Culture and Arts. He and his wife, Heather Thomas, have lived in Irvington for over 25 years.
