Gil is Global General Counsel at Millennium, a global investment management firm, which manages more than $56 billion in assets. Prior to joining Millennium in 2007, he was at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, becoming a partner in 2004. At Fried Frank, he specialized in corporate and securities law, focusing primarily on the structuring and offering of hedge funds, funds of funds, private equity funds, and a variety of other alternative investment products. Gil received an AB in Government, magna cum laude, from Cornell University, and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, where he also pursued graduate studies in Near East Studies. Gil is a member of the Managed Funds Association’s Board of Directors. Gil and his wife, Emily, have homes in NYC and Stanfordville.
