Get outside, get your hands in the dirt — and join us for a fun volunteer day at West Point Foundry Preserve, a gorgeous 97-acre “hidden gem” of a park on the Hudson River in Cold Spring. Spend the morning working together in the popular pollinator garden to plant native species that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
We already have a legion of loyal volunteers — but we’re always looking for more helping hands! Learn how to help maintain and expand the variety of native flowering perennials, shrubs, and trees that make the park more inviting for both people and wildlife. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, including long pants, a hat, and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. We’ll provide snacks, refreshments, tools and gloves.
