Juneteenth: Pine Street African Burial Ground Grand Opening

Join Harambee, Kingston Land Trust, and My Kingston Kids in celebrating the Grand Opening of the Pine Street African Burial Ground.

This historic community event will take place on Juneteenth, which represents the day of Freedom for Africans and African-Americans. This important occasion will be celebrated with music, food, community activities, poetry and so much more. You’ll have the opportunity to tour the renovated Pine Street African Burial Ground building and learn more about this site and African culture in the Hudson Valley.
