Join Andy Bicking, Director of Public Policy and Special Projects at Scenic Hudson, and Marci Reaven, Vice President for History Exhibitions at the New York Historical Society Museum and Library, for a virtual conversation about historical and contemporary preservation efforts in the Hudson region. With Scenic Hudson, Bicking works towards the preservation of land and farms and creation of parks that connect people with the inspirational power of the Hudson River. Reaven is a curator of Hudson Rising, an exhibit at the New-York Historical Society in New York City that examines two centuries of ecological change and environmental activism on the river.
Olana After Hours is a virtual platform for lively conversations with interdisciplinary practitioners discussing how their passions intersect with the ongoing story of Olana. Participants will be invited to join in the conversation so be sure to bring your own questions and refreshments to enjoy. Each conversation will be hosted on Zoom. A link to the program will be sent beforehand. $5 (FREE for Olana members).
