Scenic Hudson President Ned Sullivan’s Statement on Governor Hochul’s 2024 State of the State Address

“We are proud to partner with Governor Hochul and her administration in preserving and transforming land along the Hudson River, restoring critical habitats, and improving the overall quality of life in the Hudson Valley,” said Scenic Hudson President Ned Sullivan. “We’re particularly grateful for the continued investments that increase public access to natural resources, including Sojourner Truth State Park. As we look towards the Governor’s state budget proposal, we emphasize the need for continued investment in public health and environmental causes, and respectfully encourage her to build upon the nation-leading work she has done in advancing climate solutions. We look forward to working alongside her administration on their plans to plant millions of trees and radically lower greenhouse gas emissions.”
