The Scenic Hudson Land Trust Board Chair
The son of the late Frances “Franny” Reese, an environmentalist and founder of Scenic Hudson, Alex founded Obercreek Farm, which grows certified organic vegetables, and Obercreek Brewing Company in Hughsonville, NY. The farm was created in 2005 after Alex took ownership of the property that has been in his family for six generations. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Glynwood (Cold Spring, NY) and co-chair of Boscobel Restoration (Garrison, NY). Previously, he was a member of the board of R.E.A.L. Skills in Poughkeepsie. Alex has a background in finance, real estate, and private equity.
