This year we will be celebrating the extraordinary people and partnerships shaping a brighter future for the Hudson Valley. They are cultivating the next generation of environmental champions — equipping them with the skills needed to confront the urgent challenges we all face. Their drive, energy and spirit are empowering young people and helping them grow and thrive.

The evening will pay tribute to our outgoing Board Chair, Richard Krupp, and his wife, Natasha — leaders who embody a new wave of passionate Hudson Valley stewards. Richard’s selfless service, wisdom, and unwavering dedication have helped usher in a bold new era of environmental leadership, both at the Northside Hub — which came to life under his watch — and throughout the valley. We as proud to celebrate his lasting legacy.

We will also honor two remarkable women who are inspiring and shaping the leaders of tomorrow: Laurie Seeman, founder of Strawtown Studios, and Heather Ann Pitcher, founder of the Brain and Body Coalition. They are creating youth programming and classes that boost mental health, foster hands-on experiences with the natural world, and give young people the chance to be agents for change — broadening the vision of what’s possible for the future. Their work demonstrates the innovation, passion and commitment that true leaders are bringing to this pivotal time.
