This Presidents Day, attend a winter hike to the summit of Snake Hill, a hidden gem in the heart of Newburgh, NY. This event is co-hosted and sponsored by Scenic Hudson, bringing community members for an unforgettable outdoor experience.

 

Free Transportation provided. (From Liberty and Broadway)
Start Point:
The journey begins at the Sanctuary Healing Garden at Crystal Lake. Here, all will gather for a brief introduction and prepare for ascent.

The Hike:
Snake Hill offers a challenging yet rewarding hike. As participants ascend, all who attend will witness the Hudson Valley’s winter beauty, with opportunities to capture breathtaking photographs and enjoy the crisp, fresh air.

Difficulty Level:
This hike is categorized as challenging due to its steep incline. Participants should be in good physical condition and prepared for a strenuous workout. It’s highly recommended to wear sturdy hiking boots and dress in layers to adapt to weather conditions.

Post-Hike Celebration:
A cozy campfire awaits at the top of Snake Hill! Gather around the fire to warm up and enjoy a selection of warm goodies.

Safety and Preparedness:
