Investment Professional and Attorney Join Scenic Hudson Board

HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y.—Adding to the expertise represented by the members of its Board of Directors, Scenic Hudson has announced that Jesse B. Clinton and Kim A. Taylor are the organization’s newest board members.

Jesse B. Clinton of New York City

Mr. Clinton is a senior partner and managing director at Snowden Lane Partners, an independent, advisor-owned wealth advisory firm headquartered in New York City. He is an advocate for environmental and socially conscious investing and has been supportive of Scenic Hudson’s work to enhance the public’s enjoyment of the Hudson River.

A Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Mr. Clinton helps individuals and families achieve their financial goals. He has extensive experience working with corporate executives at public companies and also counsels law partners, financial professionals and private equity managing partners. Prior to joining Snowden Lane in 2014, Mr. Clinton was a senior vice president at Merrill Lynch, where he began his career in 2004. During his tenure there, he designed a new financial advisor training program for his office and was a producing sales manager. Among his community involvement, Mr. Clinton serves on the advisory board, and invests in, SOCAP (Social Capital Markets), a network of investors, entrepreneurs and social-impact leaders addressing the world’s toughest challenges through market-based solutions.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Albany and earned an M.B.A. from Fordham University.

Scenic Hudson President Ned Sullivan said, “Having grown up in Westchester, Jesse Clinton has a passion for the Hudson and has been keenly interested in our campaigns to fight threats to it and the natural resources that are vital for our communities and prosperity. His analytics and projections expertise will serve Scenic Hudson well across all our operations. We also will benefit from his deep experience with cash flow, risk tolerance and social investing.”

Mr. Clinton lives with his wife, Emily Chu, and their three daughters on the west side of Manhattan.

Kim A. Taylor of Nanuet

Owner and managing director of KTK Associates, Ms. Taylor is an attorney with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. Her family owned a farm, and today she and her husband and daughter enjoy visiting and supporting Hudson Valley farms.

During the last decade, Ms. Taylor has focused on small and closely held firms, both in law firms and as in-house counsel. Prior to starting KTK Associates in 2008, she spent more than 15 years working in international investment banks in legal, operational and management roles. Also she served as senior counsel to several smaller companies. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Workshop in Business Opportunities, a New York nonprofit organization dedicated to training and supporting entrepreneurs. Ms. Taylor also is a board member of the Rockland Conservatory of Music.

Ms. Taylor was awarded a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, and her law degree from Rutgers School of Law. She lives in Nanuet, Rockland County, with her husband, Thomas Kyle, and their daughter.

“Kim Taylor really connects with Scenic Hudson’s work to preserve and grow valley agriculture. She will bring a wealth of legal, business management and entrepreneurial acumen to our organization and cause. Her tenure as in-house counsel and experience serving on several boards of directors will enable her to contribute right away to the governance of Scenic Hudson,” said Mr. Sullivan.
