Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County (162 acres)—Scenic Hudson played a leading role in protecting this 162-acre former orchard, now owned by the Town of Poughkeepsie. Its 3.2 miles of trails lead to the town's highest point and spectacular panoramic views of the Catskills, Hudson Highlands and Shawangunks.
